Support Leah in Overcoming Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

You know that friend who shows up with full enthusiasm and support for any wild endeavor you’re dreaming up? The one who is fiercely loving, vibrantly passionate, and contagiously curious? That’s Leah. As an ocean conservationist and talented filmmaker, she has always shown up for those in need, be it person, community, or planet, and right now - Leah needs our help!

In August, Leah was diagnosed with stage 3/4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system, isn’t genetic, and often develops due to an unknown environmental cause. As many of you know, Leah cares deeply about her health and has prioritized healthy lifestyle choices, so this came as a big shock for both Leah and her community.

Leah’s unstoppable motivation to heal systemically comes after another life-threatening condition that she was diagnosed with in 2019. The condition ended up being localized and not terminal as she was initially told by her doctors. Strangely, this very rare condition is in the same family of diseases as Lymphoma. As you can imagine, it has already been quite an exhausting and expensive journey.

We are humbly asking, alongside Leah, for financial support to make it possible for her to receive the best medical treatment and support her along her healing journey. If the past few years have taught us anything, it is that we are not meant to do this life alone. We believe this is what community is for: to not only celebrate and encourage each other but also steadfastly show up + support each other during life’s challenges.

We are confident we can reach (and surpass!!) our goal for Leah. She is ready to begin treatment, and we are calling on community to support the next chapter of her healing journey.
