It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic story of Leah James, one of the many victims of the recent Altadena fires. Forced to evacuate her childhood home in the dead of night, Leah lost everything—her home, her belongings, and the life she had worked so hard to build for herself and her family.

Leah’s father, who suffers from dementia, and her son lived with her and are now displaced, grieving the loss of their home, and facing an uncertain future. Despite these overwhelming challenges, Leah is determined to rebuild and create a safe, stable life for her family. Remarkably, Leah’s son has been stepping up to help fight the fires, working tirelessly to protect the community during this crisis.

Our community has the power to help Leah and her family recover, but they need our support now more than ever. Here is how the funds raised will be used to assist Leah and her family:
