Support Leandra's Battle Against Blood Cancer

Leandra is a loving wife, devoted mom, and one of the hardest-working people you’ll ever meet. She’s always put others first—at home, at work, and in her community.

Now, she needs our help.

Leandra was recently diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera (PV), a rare and chronic blood cancer that causes her body to produce too many red blood cells. This makes her blood dangerously thick, increasing the risk of blood clots, strokes, and heart attacks.

There is no cure for PV, and if left untreated, it can progress into more aggressive forms of cancer—including leukemia. That’s why it’s critical she receives ongoing care, including therapeutic phlebotomies, regular bloodwork, and specialist visits to manage the disease and monitor any signs of progression.

Right now, Leandra is receiving treatment every two weeks, and each session costs around $375 out-of-pocket. Unfortunately, insurance has denied full coverage, and the bills are quickly adding up.

Through it all, Leandra continues to work and care for her family with strength and determination. But managing a lifelong illness like this takes a toll—physically, emotionally, and financially.
