Support Lee Douglas' Road to Recovery

On May 30th, 2024, Lee Douglas was involved in a tragic shooting. As he clocked out for a break around 2:30am, a random individual was on the property at Refresco in Fort Worth, Texas. Lee assumed it was someone who could've worked there. As he walked past the individual to head to his vehicle, the man shot him in the back. Lee fell to the ground and as he turned over and put his hands up he was shot again in the mouth.

Lee is now paralyzed from the waist down and has to have surgery on his mouth to retrieve the bullet that’s still lodged there, which won't happen for several weeks. Lee is a father to a total of 5 children: 3 girls and 2 boys. His oldest daughter just graduated high school and is heading off to the navy soon. He also has a 13-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son who are in school, and a 2-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son. Lee takes really good care of his kids, but by him not being able to work, he will face financial issues.

I hate to be writing this at the moment but I can’t stomach the fact that this happened. Anything is greatly appreciated and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone.
