Support Lee Newcomer's Memorial Fund

Performers Music is deeply saddened to announce the death of owner Lee Newcomer. He died at the age of 81 at his home in Chicago.

Lee dedicated his life to the store and supporting musicians young & old in their musical education and aspirations. Performers Music has survived over 40 years and maintained business during the COVID pandemic.

In memorial of Lee's legacy, we are reaching out to friends and customers for help to cover funeral costs. Everything that Lee had went to keeping the store open.

He was a one-of-a-kind gentleman and an excellent boss. The employees of Performers Music will miss him deeply and we want to keep the store open to honor his life and legacy.

Thank you all so much for your support over the years and we hope to keep Lee's memory alive through music, friendship, and the incredible community he built.
