Support Legal Battle for Persephone, Claire, and Evy

Hi friends,

My name is Persephone, and I am roommates with Claire and Evy. We have been living in our rent-stabilized Brooklyn apartment together for several years, and recently have come to find out that our rental company has been overcharging us by tens of thousands of dollars every year, according to the Housing Department. This comes on the back of several bedbug infestations, a neighbor whose hoarding has effected the entire building, hot water and electricity shortages, leaks, unsafe fire alarm outages, and mold damages. We are all creatives trying to stay afloat in the city, and need help with our legal fees in order to recoup the cost of our landlord stealing over $80000 and counting from us. Our legal team requires a retainer of 5000 dollars to take our case to the New York Supreme Court, and on our salaries, it is not possible with our income alone. We are asking our community to help us take on our landlord, so we can live more affordably and in a higher quality environment.
