Support Leigh Anne McGee's Final Rest

My name is Jeida. I am the daughter of Leigh Anne McGee. My mother was a beautiful, smart, and talented woman. In high school, she was an excellent cheerleader, gymnast, and a member of the Fairfield Choraliers show choir. My mother was also a drug addict. Growing up with my mother, I watched as she struggled with a grueling battle against addiction and mental illness. While she was never fully present in my life, I never doubted my mother's love for me and her family. On July 30, 2024, my mother lost this battle and took her own life. She spent the last moments of her life high and alone, taking both her life and the life of our family's beloved dog, Lucky. My family is overwhelmed with sadness and confusion and asks for help during this time.
She left no money behind. She spent the last of her paycheck fueling her addiction. Due to this reason, the cost of cremation, the urn, and other final expenses, my family needs help to meet these costs. My mother's life was a constant battle between addiction and mental illness, I believe she deserves a peaceful rest. Please help me and my family make this happen.
