Help Support Leland

Leland has been in and out of the hospital since birth with want we thought was Asthma related but looks like it’s not. He checked into St. joes on Wednesday for a Bronchoscopy and endoscopy to get a better look what’s going on. After the procedure he was resting and while hooked up to the monitors he stopped breathing for 30 seconds and had to be resuscitated. Now obviously the concerns are much more elevated so they are keeping him and running every test humanly possible. We currently know structurally everything is normal in relation to brain / heart / lungs / throat. They have ruled out sleep apnea/ seizures / issues with brain activity. They are now running 24 hour tests for the last 72 hours straight to see if that gives us some answers. He was going good last episode (stop breathing and resuscitated) was Monday but than he just had one around 11a on Friday and then again Sunday. If these results come back normal we may have to hire a in care nurse to monitor him over night while we sleep (hooked up to monitors) - besides these episodes he is happy / eating / playing / completely normal so we are all just scared but more frustrated than anything else - we just need a answer. the hardest part is my other kids are losing their minds cause they can’t even see him in ICU. The financial toll is also starting to hit us hard with my wife not working...
