Support Lena Shipe's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Hi. My name is Nolan Springman and many of you reading this know me. Fortunately, this GoFundMe isn't for me or my immediate family, but I still need your help. Many of you may know or are also friends with my good friend and also our transaction coordinator, "Lena" aka Helena Shipe. Wife to my business partner Chris Shipe and a mother of two fantastic kids, Alex and Reina Shipe. Well, she's now in for the fight of her life and we need your help.

Lena has recently been diagnosed with a very invasive form of breast cancer called "Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma." The stage is unknown at this time, but it is spreading rapidly, and she will be undergoing chemotherapy treatments starting next week and ongoing for possibly 5 months, with the potential of surgery at the end. She is a stay-at-home wife with limited income and also a disabled veteran.

Lena is the type of person who puts everyone else first before herself. She's kind, generous, and one of the best people I know. She gives you the real blunt truth and wears her heart on her sleeve. She will even live with my dogs in my house anytime we leave town just to ensure they're comfortable; that's the type of person she is. Her husband Chris is one of my best friends and more like a brother. I've watched their kids grow up, their family prosper, and come up from a place where the odds were stacked against them. This is just so unfair, and I want to see her beat this diagnosis with flying colors.

This mission is very important to me. The money donated will help cover medical bills, day-to-day expenses, and hopefully alleviate some of the stress and financial catastrophe this will cause. Even if you can make the smallest of donations, I hope you can find it in your hearts to do so. I know those who have lost loved ones to cancer understand this battle and struggle. I have fortunately never been one of those people, and I hope I am never one. I will do my best to spread this message and update this GoFundMe as her progress towards beating this cancer continues.
