Support Len's Cremation and Memorial

Hey I'm Shantanika Leonard Scott, only daughter. To some may know him as Len, Bear, or Lenny, but to me he was my daddy. My dad lived to be 64 years old! He fought a good fight over the last 10 years.
His health declined significantly and he had to live in various nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals throughout the Chicagoland area.
One of my dad's favorite sayings for when times got really bad was, “Don’t count me out.” My dad passed October 18, 2024 at 9:30pm, after deciding to go on hospice earlier that day. This shocked me and my family to the core because we all knew he was going to pull through, just as he had many times before. My father was a bigger person and this is causing my family issues with finalizing services for him.
We want to remember Bear the way he was, full of life! He worked over 20 years at one job, always had a smile on his face, looked at the brighter side of life, and he was a family man. My father was a caring man, my daddy became a dad to many!
His main wish was to be cremated and celebrated. My family is asking that you help us complete his wish! We are asking help in raising $3,000 for cremation and a small memorial service.
