Support Leonard Yoder and Family

Support for Leonard Yoder and his family. Leonard has been a very valuable employee of Shrock Premier Custom Construction. He became a part of our team in 2019 bringing with him the experience and talent to succeed in the ever-changing construction industry. He has become part of our family.

 

The weekend of November 27th, Leonard was sitting in his deer stand and suffered a stroke which caused him to fall from his stand. He was air lifted to the hospital with a broken back and ribs. He has gone under extensive testing including an MRI that shows blood clots in his heart, a clot in his R pulmonary vein (goes from lung to left side of heart, which is back of heart, and the mass they seen at first). A clot in his IVC (main vein of body, brings blood from belly and legs back to heart).

 

A blood clot let loose, and a particle went to the brain causing a stroke, also the kidney and spleen, but it doesn’t seem to have done too much damage there. They have also recently found another clot in his calf of his leg. They are currently doing extensive blood work and clotting studies to understand why this is happening to prevent any further damage to any major organs.

 

Leonard and his wife Hannah have five young children. Because Leonard is the sole income in this family all the money raised will go directly to the family. This will be used to cover basic household bills, such as mortgage, utilities and food. We know he has a long recovery ahead of him and want to take the stress of supporting his family away from him so he can work on getting better. We hope this will support him and his family over the next three to six months.
