Support Levi Kulper's Mission to Mars STEM Program
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
This is Levi and I have started a GoFundMe because I was nominated by two of my teachers to attend a one-week STEM program this summer at Northwest University in Seattle from June 16-21 called National Youth Leadership Forum: Mission to Mars (thank you Mrs. Parks and Mrs. Andrade!!), which costs $3,300.
This program is really interesting to me because I spend a lot of my time thinking about the universe, quantum physics, what happens and how time works in black holes, time paradoxes, and the possibilities of life on other planets. I'd like to be an astronaut who goes to Mars, or to build the things astronauts use to go to Mars. (I would actually like to explore other solar systems, but that's not going to happen in my lifetime, which is sad.) Someday I want to be involved in fields like bioengineering, robotics, 3D printing, and design. But right now as a kid, I would love to do experiments with chemicals, plasma, hydrogen, microwaves, and robotics, but I don't have funding for all of that. This is the kind of program that I would like to do since I can't do all of that very easily. I want to do this because I want to be as connected and involved with these fields as they relate to space as possible as I'm growing up.
I will be staying in dorm rooms with other kids from across the country, and we will be doing simulations in engineering design, robotics programming, forensics, and unexpected medical emergencies. We will also meet and hear about the space exploration experiences of a former NASA astronaut. I specifically want to ask the astronaut what the best way is to actually get into NASA.
Thank you so much and please consider helping me with this goal. Here is the link to the program if you'd like to read more about it: https://www.envisionexperience.com/explore-our-programs/national-youth-leadership-forum-explore-stem/program-highlights.
(By the way, where it says "Levi Kulper is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Michael Kulper," that sounds weird, but it's just the wording that GoFundMe puts there. I can start a GoFundMe as a 13 year old but my dad is the one given permission to withdraw the donations.)
P.S. Have you ever seen a plasma toroid? They're pretty cool. You should look it up. (the Integza channel on YouTube).
