Support Lewy Body Dementia Research for our Dad, Jim.

We are raising funds for LBDA (Lewy Body Dementia Association) in honor of my dad who passed away today. He struggled with his diagnosis for over two years with my mom as his sole caretaker. We saw the disease take away a once brilliant, genuinely great man. The hardest part was watching my mom grieve in real time as her husband lost himself and forgot the love that bonded them together for life.

The last six months were especially difficult, as he lost his strength and became immobile, leading to him being completely dependent on my mom for walking, bathing, and feeding. The goal of this fundraiser is to raise awareness of the disease and donate money to research in my father's name to honor his memory and my mom's selflessness during the hardest times.
