Support LFHC's Outreach Team as they RUN FOR CHILDREN

On October 26th, the Lao Friends Hospital for Children's Outreach team will undertake a challenge to bring a smile to the three of LFHC's long-term patients. Kazu Thongsy, Nod, and Kherchia.

The team of seven with help to push our three little superstars in wheelchairs 21km in the Luang Prabang Half Marathon!

One of the children, Kazu Thongsy, received treatment in LFHC's Neonatal unit five years ago. She made the most remarkable recovery following months of care. You can find out more about her story here: Thongsy's Story - Thongsy is now an excitable five-year old with a bright future ahead of her and she's super excited to take part in the half marathon!

The outreach team travels tens of thousands of kilometers per year to reach the most vulnerable children in Northern Laos. Often, these children have developmental delays and serious medical conditions and are sometimes in palliative care.

Please spare a little to support their efforts. All funds raised will go to supporting Lao Friends Hospital for Children. In 2024, LFHC treated over 40,000 children and was the only free children's hospital in Laos.
