Support LGBTQIA Storytelling and Drag!

Hello! My name is Howland and I am seeking financial assistance as I organize a LGBTQIA+ centered storytelling/drag event to be held on October 13, 2024. It's called "Let Me Speak Queerly: Stories of Hope, Joy, and Resilience." The event will feature moth-style personal storytelling–drag encouraged but not required, with some additional appearances by artists just doing drag. The performances will be both retrospective and vision-casting to help the community move through this historical moment of uncertainty.

So here's the fundraising request: will you please help support this community event?! We are looking to raise at least $700.00 to cover paying the performers, renting the space (an outdoor bandshell in the park behind the Corrales public library), and applying for event insurance and a sound permit.
