Support Emily, Liam, and Their Son After a Devastating Loss
Hi, my name is Nikki, and I’m a friend of Emily and Liam, a wonderful family who experienced a devastating loss when a fire destroyed their home. I first met Emily and Liam at rally trials and frisbee fun events, where I quickly saw how much they love their family, their animals, and the dog community they selflessly give back to.
The funds raised will help Emily, Liam, and their 4-year-old son begin rebuilding their lives. Specifically, the donations will go toward:
- Clearing their farm of the charred remains from the fire.
- Rebuilding a new home, including extra precautions to prevent future electrical fires.
- Replacing their vehicle, which was lost in the fire.
- Meeting their immediate needs, such as clothing, furniture, toys, electronics, and essentials for their farm animals and remaining pets (e.g., food and supplies).
Your support, whether through donations or simply sharing this campaign, means so much to this family as they work to heal and rebuild. All funds are going directly to Emily and Liam.

Here's the story as told by Emily:
"We have no words.
But I will try.
Last night we drove down our driveway to see our tiny home completely engulfed in flames. The fire department suspects it was an electrical fire. When we left earlier in the day, there was three dogs and one cat in that home.
Our boy Brennan succumbed to the flames inside.
Our Tova & Kaladin managed to break a window and jump out. I am unsure if Lux (the cat) made it outside.
Tova was found this morning a mile away from home. 95% of her body was covered in burns, but she waited until I could hold her to pass on.
Kaladin is still missing. We have search teams walking the area, and have hired a heat seeking drone / search dog team who is on their way.
We are holding onto every bit of hope that we find Kaladin.
We lost half of our family last night, and are hoping a piece of it can get back to us.
Myself, Liam, our child, and Hobbes are safe.
Know how incredibly much we appreciate all of the messages, donations, people who are walking the woods in the freezing cold, or who are just here while we attempt to process.
This post feels and sounds very indifferent as putting words on this us extremely difficult right now. But the ache is our souls is gutwrenching. We would live in our truck for the rest of our lives if it meant we had our family back."

As they grieve the loss of their furry family members and home, let’s come together to show the power of community. During this holiday season, we have the opportunity to give back to a family who has given so much. Every donation helps, whether it’s to replace essential belongings, cover veterinary bills, or help them find stability after this unimaginable loss.
Thank you for your support!
In loving memory:
