Hello! I am a Certified Scrub Technician who has been given the great opportunity to join Operational International's Team Florida on their 2nd mission to Ghana, Africa. I am excited to be led by Florida-based double board certified surgeon Dr. Joseph Lewis. Team Florida's mission trip will be September 27 - October 5, 2024 to Holy Family Hospital in Techiman, Ghana, Africa. We will be providing free surgical care to those in need. This is my first mission and I'm excited to see the huge impact we will make in people's lives. I've heard stories about how this will be a life changing experience and I hope you can help support me with my journey!
Operation International (OI) is a secular, non-political, humanitarian organization whose goal is to improve communities in underprivileged countries around the world by doing the following:
1. Providing free surgical & medical care to patients
2. Training local medical professionals
3. Improving hospital infrastructures
4. Providing shelter and education to orphans
