Lilada Gee's Metastatic Breast Cancer Journey

We are sad to announce that our mom has been recently diagnosed with stage IV metastatic double beast cancer. This is a very scary and serious diagnosis, but we know that our mom is a strong, faith-filled woman… she is also a fighter, as you all know by now.

We are so grateful that our mom’s major medical care is covered by insurance. However, a major concern for our family right now are the important extra expenses that are not covered by her medical insurance, but are just as important to her health and recovery. We need to be able to support every healing avenue possible for our mom.

During this season we want to create a way for friends and family to support our mom, Lilada, who has been a "momma" to so many in our community, an artist, an advocate, a healer, a teacher, social worker, social entrepreneur, an encourager, and more. Your generous support would enable our mom to access extra routes that may provide the healing of her body, mind and spirit through alternative healing practices, exercise equipment, healing retreats, healthy nutrition, essential personal self-care, art therapy, aromatherapy, and helping her do things that bring her joy and peace in this challenging season. If she can reduce major stress and anxiety, she can focus more energy on healing.
