Support Lilia's Family After Unexpected Tragic Loss

Donation protected

On the morning of December 13th, our beloved Lilia Vazquez was tragically struck by a vehicle while out running, and her life was cut far too short.

Lilia was not only a dedicated mother and wife, but also a vital and inspiring member of our Houston running community. She had been selected as a local elite runner for the Houston Marathon in January, a testament to her commitment and passion. She also touched countless lives through her work at Baylor over the past four years, where she dedicated herself to helping patients in the physical therapy unit.

Now, Lilia’s daughters are asking for our help to ensure their mother receives the dignified and beautiful burial she deserves and any additional funds will go towards a memorial in the park. They want to honor Lilia’s life in the way she lived—with love, grace, and dedication.

Please consider contributing, and share this link with anyone who knew Lilia, worked alongside her, or was touched by her kindness and strength. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help give Lilia the farewell she deserves.

Thank you for your support during this incredibly difficult time.
