Help Expand My Dog Training Business and Rescue Work
Hello everyone! My name is Lilyanna Quinn, and I am a 22-year-old full-time business owner, professional dog trainer, devoted dog mom to six beautiful dogs, and caregiver to my 15-year-old sister, who has cerebral palsy. I have been on my own since I was 15 years old and have built everything I have from the ground up completely on my own. I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support in expanding my dog training business and rescue efforts.
I started my dog training business at 18 years old and have worked tirelessly to become one of the leading behavioral modification trainers in the industry.
I rent a spacious 3,000 sq. ft. home on 6 acres, where I operate a thriving and beautifully maintained dog training business that is usually booked out at least six months in advance, thanks to my proven success rate. I have invested thousands into my education and continue to learn and grow in this field.
My passion for dogs goes beyond training; I have been flown across the United States to work with some of the most challenging cases, and I regularly take in owner surrenders. My beloved dogs are not just companions; they are the very essence of my being and the driving force behind my passion. They fill my life with joy and purpose, and I feel an unwavering sense of gratitude for everything they bring into my world. I truly owe them everything.
A year ago, I took on the responsibility of caring for my sister, who has extensive medical needs. I manage all her medical bills, transportation to school, physical therapy, and doctor appointments. This journey has been both rewarding and challenging, especially as my mother works on her recovery and has recently moved in with us. I am the sole provider for my entire family, which adds to the pressure of managing our daily needs and expenses.
In addition to my dedication to training and rescue work, I am passionate about sport and protection dogs. I travel all over the United States and take monthly trips to ensure my dogs receive the best training possible for my growth as a handler and trainer, as well as their development. I aspire to become a PSA obedience coach one day and compete at high levels of PSA with my personal dogs. This goal drives me to continually improve and refine my skills in this exciting field.
I work tirelessly every day, often from 5 AM until midnight or even later, to ensure that all the dogs in my care receive the attention and love they deserve. My routine includes grooming, bathing, nail trimming, and thorough cleaning to create a safe and welcoming environment. I focus on training and providing both mental and physical enrichment to keep them engaged. Additionally, I dedicate time to weekly sports and protection training for my personal dogs, manage vet appointments as needed, and attend to their essential needs, including feeding and watering. I also prioritize open communication with my clients, keeping them informed about their dogs' progress and well-being. Most importantly, I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring that they receive the same love, care, and dedication that I give to my personal pets. This commitment is driven by my deep love for each dog and my desire to see them thrive.
Recently, I have taken in several dogs that urgently needed help, including:
- KiitKat: a dog with over 12 bites on his record who was surrendered to the humane society to be euthanized.
- Tuliip: a golden retriever puppy rescued from a hoarding situation.
- Poe: a pug puppy surrendered to me after my clients realized they couldn’t handle his needs.
- Freeii: a starved and malnourished Aussie puppy rescued from a backyard operation in Ocala.
The funds raised will go toward their extensive medical bills and other essential expenses, such as food and care.
The Need for Expansion:
Over the past year, I have expanded my business by bringing on two assistant trainers, who have been trained under my guidance and share my training philosophy. I have already purchased a beautiful but unfinished building on my property, but I need help to finish the remodeling and complete the project. This expansion is crucial for my business and will allow me to hire my employees full-time to help more dogs in need.
With recent extreme rescue cases, I realized how crucial it is to expand my business. I am dedicated to changing the deplorable state of the training industry through my soul-based training beliefs and practices, which focus on truly understanding dogs and transforming their lives.
How You Can Help:
I am asking for help from the community to finish my expansion project and continue to provide loving care for more dogs. Your contributions, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in my ability to help dogs and support my sister and my family.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness and support mean the world to me, and together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of many dogs and families in need.
