Support Lily's Legacy of Love and Kindness

In loving memory of Lily Sage DeMuth of Vail, Colorado, who left our world onto her next adventure on April 30th, 2024, due to a congenital aneurysm. To say that she is survived by her parents Ruth and Evan DeMuth isn’t enough. She is survived by everyone she has ever met.

Lily was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed. Born on November 5th, 1999, at the Vail Hospital, Lily leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and warmth that touched everyone she encountered.

Lily's passion for travel and meeting new people was evident in everything she did. Her infectious smile could light up any room, her genuine spirit welcomed others into her world with open arms. She was a dedicated student, excelling in the dual language program at Edwards Elementary, Berry Creek Middle School, and Battle Mountain High School. Lily went on to graduate from CU Boulder with a double major in International Affairs and Anthropology, a minor in Spanish, and a certificate in Peace and Conflict.

Throughout her academic journey, Lily received numerous awards and accolades, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to learning. She was a role model as the President of the Battle Mountain High School Student Body, Captain of the BMHS Volleyball team, and a "model initiate" of her beloved Chi Omega sorority. Lily's dedication, education, and service extended beyond the classroom, as she interned with the Global Livingston Institute and aspired to become a teacher.

In her final act of generosity, Lily's decision to be an organ donor saved the lives of seven individuals in Spain, embodying her selfless nature and desire to make a positive impact on the world. Her legacy of love and compassion lives on with the organ recipients as well as inspiring others to embrace life with the same zest and enthusiasm that Lily did.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 15th at The Little Beach Park in Minturn, Colorado, starting at 10:00 am.
