Support Linda Radford's Cremation Costs

My mother, Linda Lou Radford, sadly passed away on December 3rd 2024. She had been in and out of hospitals all summer, dealing with several severe health issues including congestive heart failure, but had finally been doing better and was planning to be home within the next two weeks after doing some in patient physical therapy. While she did have many health problems, this still feels so unexpected.

Then today I found out that it will cost around $3200 for the most basic/cheapest cremation package and I unfortunately don’t have the money to pay for that. My mom never had a lot of money, and did not have any sort of life insurance or savings. It has been a hard year financially, with a lot of unexpected expenses and travel expenses related to my mom’s frequent hospitalizations & health conditions, which also caused me to miss a lot of work throughout the year.

If you have $10, $5, or even $1 to spare, any little bit would be so appreciated and so helpful. Many of you may not have known my mother but she was a kind and wonderful person, and her daughter, son-in-law and her seven “grandbabies” (our cats) are going to miss her dearly.

Per her wishes there will be no service of any kind; she wished for her ashes to be spread where we used to pick mushrooms near her hometown, in the autumn.
