Support Line4Line's Back to School Giveaway

Dear Community Partner and Friend,

Line4Line, Baton Rouge’s only barbershop literacy and mentoring program seeks donations and sponsorships for our annual Back to School Giveaway which provides school supplies and books to over 200 students. Since 2015 Line4Line has been building readers and supporting youth to achieve school and life success. Our team of dedicated barbers, educators and volunteers have given over 1000 free haircuts for reading, placed over 8000 books into homes, partnered with schools and community organizations to provide art enrichment and created a dedicated space within O’Neil’s Barbershop complex to engage youth with free quality opportunities and experiences. Our work not only builds readers but also creates leaders through our relatable mentoring programs that include free neighborhood based summer camps, the Clippers youth basketball league, Lady Clippers Cheer team, a High School Barbering Program and paid teen apprenticeships. To further support the families and students in our community each summer Line4Line hosts a Back to School Giveaway at O’Neil’s Barbershop located at 449 North Acadian Thruway. This year’s event takes place Sunday August 6th and features free food, books, school supplies and activities. Each year, we look to the greater Baton Rouge community to help support the cost of this program as it falls outside Line4Line’s grant funded initiatives. School supplies can be purchased and dropped off at O’Neil’s Barbershop / Line4Line, cash donations can be made by scanning this QR Code or your business can be a lead sponsor for $250.00 which includes your logo on all promotional materials. We ask you to consider a donation of any amount, so that kids in our community can start the year prepared to learn! All donations to Line4Line’s Back to School Giveaway are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. Line4Line is a registered non-profit (Tax ID # is 81-4426216).
