Support Linton On His Journey Back To Health

Linton Weems is a humble man with a sense of humor and a servant’s heart. He is a father, grandfather, husband, music teacher, mentor, retired Marine & Army Vet, and minister.
He is the man who gives private music and voice lessons to youth and adults of all ages, because he wants to share the gift God gave him, these lessons are often free of charge (or for a chicken dinner). He is the teacher who had the classroom were most kids were found after school, he is the man who places others needs before his own, needs our help.
His life changed May 23, 2022, following a stroke and a seizure. The two events have led to numerous stays in and out of the hospital and skilled nursing & rehabilitation facilities. He is unable to walk without assistance, navigate stairs, or get in and out of bed on his own. His muscles have weakened, causing the need for extensive physical and occupational therapy.
His transition from a daily active life to present has not been easy however his spirit has not dampened, and he is making progress a little every day.
Linton’s main concern is his wife and the toll his care is taking on her. He needs in home care during the day while his wife works. An in-home care giver will assist Linton with his activities of daily living-bathing, grooming, medication, accompany him to doctor’s appointments, and encourage him during physical and occupational therapy. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover the cost. Veteran’s Assistance has been applied for however, the earliest support that could be received is eight months out. An in-home care provider has been selected keeping faith that the cost of the service at $42 per hour, 40 hours a week for the next eight months totaling $53,760.00 will somehow be covered.
If you would like and are able to support in Linton’s recovery and his in-home care cost, we would be grateful for any financial support and prayers.
