Support Lisa Henson's Cremation and Memorial

My name is Lesley Henson, and me and my dad, Michael Hollier, and my daughter, Leanna, have experienced a tragic loss in our family: my mother, Lisa Henson. You know, through thick and thin, all families have their problems, but losing her has been probably one of the hardest things that our family has had to endure this year. And we’ve been through some pretty tragic stuff.

Funeral arrangements are expensive, but one thing about my mother is she always wanted to be cremated and her ashes spread on the beach. So right now, we’re trying to come up with the money for not only her cremation but the urn that her ashes will go in. We’ve had a few estimates from a couple of crematories in the Birmingham area where we live, and we know that altogether it’s gonna be between $800 and $1,000 for the cremation and for the urn.

Any friends, family, or people that knew my mom, one thing y’all know about her is that she just always wanted everybody to live in peace. She just always wanted everybody to get along, and so even if it’s just a little bit, anything donated is so greatly appreciated during this time.

Funeral arrangements will be coming soon. We do know that it will be held at Republic Baptist Church.
