Support Lisa in Cremation & Memory of Amos Glover
Donation protected
Amos Glover passed away peacefully while awaiting emergency heart surgery, early Thursday morning.
4 years ago Amos survived a dissection of his aorta. Only 3 people out of 100 survive this. The doctors told him he had potentially 5 years to live. He was back working within a couple weeks of open heart surgery.
Amos had a rough exterior which some people had difficulty seeing past. But those who truly knew him loved him deeply and were impacted by him. Those who knew him appreciated his intense and passionate personality. He had a huge caring heart. He had a comedic streak that was sometimes corny but oftentimes went over peoples heads.
In November of last year he lost his job. Amos lived near his mom, Lisa. In this last year of his life she supported both of them with her meager income. She has lived paycheck to paycheck for many years.
Many people have asked if there is anything the family needs in this time of mourning. Lisa does not have money to cremate her son. We have set up this page in hopes of raising funds for Amos’ cremation and some money for Lisa to be able to take some time off of work to mourn her son. The basic cremation cost is $2,700.
