Support Lisa Kennedy's Final Journey

Hi Friends, Family, and others. Tim and Timmy Kennedy have a cause that we would like to ask for help with.
For the past year, our small family of three, myself, my wife Lisa (Russell) Kennedy, and our son Timothy Jr., have been in an intense battle fighting to save Lisa's life from a rare form of cancer known as neuroendocrine carcinoma. It started a year ago with a solid tumor in Lisa's throat that was quickly encroaching on her windpipe and making it hard for her to breathe. We made it to Dan's Farber in Boston in enough time to start treatment which stopped the tumor from growing. At the same time, they found cancer in Lisa's liver and her bones as well as some abnormal areas in her spine. Lisa has been a warrior during all of this, keeping her spirits up and not giving into the cancer or complaining that her life could be ending. No, we decided to fight no matter what the outcome. Making multiple weekly trips to and from Boston for treatments, doctor's visits, and all kinds of tests. We did this for nine months which caused a huge financial strain on our family of three. Missing work, gas, medicines, co-payments, food, lodging, etc. Somewhere around the tenth month, Lisa started having other cognitive issues arise. I spoke to the doctor about what was happening and he ordered an MRI of the brain. After the MRI, we were informed that Lisa had twenty small lesions and tumors on her brain. The only treatment would be full brain radiation. Which Lisa elected to do willingly as she wanted to survive for the sake of her son and not leave him at such a young age. The radiation that she received caused irreversible damage to her brain. She still fought on, even undergoing more chemo treatments of the most potent treatments, with the hopes of entering into a clinical trial.
Lisa did not make it that far. She was losing her battle rapidly against the cancer. She spent the last month and a half in and out of the hospital for weeks at a time. Lisa came home three weeks ago needing 100% full care. The care was given by myself, our son Tim Jr., and Lisa's sisters Suzi, Sherri, and Shirley. Lisa passed away this past Friday night surrounded by many loved ones. My son and I are left with broken hearts and years of sadness. We have also been left with a broken budget and not all the funds needed to complete the process of bringing Lisa/ Mama Brown to her final resting stop. And take care of her wishes and services, the way she deserves them to be after fighting so hard against this horrible disease (CANCER).
Not to mention the three decades of being a wonderful person, Mother, friend, and Wife.
Please consider helping us to raise the additional money needed to send her gracefully to the next plane of existence.
Thank you,
The Kennedy Family, Tim & Tim Jr.
