Support Lise and her fight with cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lise, I am 51 years old, and a mother of three beautiful children.
On July 26th, 2023 I was diagnosed with stage 2 aggressive breast cancer that spread to my lymph nodes. Before this dreadful news, I worked as a caregiver for Alzheimer patients, giving respite to family members who take daily care of this suffering from this awful disease. After seeing my own family member suffering from Alzheimer's, I get even more satisfaction from helping these families! I truly love my job and miss it more than I can express.
On August 31st, I started 6 months of the most intensive chemotherapy, combined with extremely painful injections to boost my white blood cell through the bone marrow. On January 9th, 2024, I underwent surgery for a partial mastectomy and removal of all lymph nodes. The next step is 4 weeks of radiation.
My life changed dramatically, both physically as well as the tremendous financial burden this disease has caused me.
I am truly blessed to have good friends and family that try to help me as they can, but at this point, I just need more financial help.
Your kind donations and support, regardless of size, will help make a meaningful difference in my life. It will allow me to focus on regaining my health without having the overwhelming stress of trying to cover all my living and medical expenses until I can return to work.
Thank you for taking time to read my story. God bless.
