Empower Northern Ghana: Help Build an Inclusive Smiles for Speech Early Intervention Center and Library

Help us transform the future of children with disabilities in Northern Ghana! We are raising funds to establish an early intervention center with a dedicated library, aiming to combat the region's low literacy rates and provide a nurturing space for education and growth.

In Northern Ghana, only 20% of female adults have ever attended school, and the literacy rate for young women aged 15–24 years is just 44.3%—the lowest in the country. Only 59.4% of primary school-aged children attend school. Our goal is to create a supportive environment that encourages literacy and education for all children, with a focus on empowering young girls and supporting children with disabilities.

We aim to raise $5,000 to fund the first phase:

- Renovation and furnishing of a safe, accessible library space to house a diverse collection of books and educational materials

- Renovation of a hall for our community clinics to train educators and caregivers on inclusive education practices
