Support Peter’s fight after his stroke

There have been so many of you asking how you could help, so I decided to do this.

This might be long, but bear with me. In September we suddenly lost my grandmother , my mom’s mom to a stroke. I cancelled my future gigs and got on a flight over with hours to spare. I got to be there when she took her last breath which was such a gift to be able to be there for her and then our family could grief together. After a month in norway and Sweden I returned back to the states for not even a couple of weeks when another crises hit. My parents went to Norway to settle all that needs to be handled after someone passes. He went to take a nap and woke up unable to speak. He was rushed to the hospital in Norway. They quickly found out that he had gotten an infection that impacted his brain. He was taken to Oslo for a brain surgery. During the treatment there, he had a stroke and has been closely taken care of and monitored. 

Here’s why I wanted to start a GoFundMe: 

My mom has been here since it all happened. She’s been living in hotels and Airbnb’s in Oslo, and Norway is one of the most expensive countries in the world. This has quickly drained their savings and she is struggling. Me and my husband John has done what we can but we can only do so much unfortunately. This is why we need a little help from our outer circle. 

We wish we could help more, but traveling back and forth between the us and Scandinavia in such a short time has put a strain on pie finances as well, despite getting help from John’s mom. 

My mom is now fighting the insurance company but they claim that he had a pre-existing condition, so they’re putting up a wall. Yes, my dad was sick previously but they had no idea he was this sick. Not even the doctors back home. 

Anyways, the most important thing for us now. Is to have my mom being able to stay with dad for as long as she can. And she won’t be able to do that for very much longer at this rate. So, even the smallest donation could help them to stay together. We are forever grateful
