Hola!

Mi nombre es Lizzie Astorga y soy artista independiente TexMex criada en Brownsville TX. Tengo 26 años y llevo aproximadamente 12 años escribiendo canciones y llevando mi proyecto de musica independiente. Este año tuve la oportunidad de irme de gira con Caloncho, abrirle a Hello Seahorse, Carla Morrison, Jesse y Joy y mas artistas muy pronto. Ser artista independiente conlleva de muchos gastos para producir música, crear videos musicales, viajar con mi crew, etc. Mi proyecto se ha llevado acabó al 100% por mis ahorros y por eso esto empece este GoFundMe. Así que deja te cuento un poquito de mi:

Mi proyectó necesita de tu ayuda. Es tan grande el cariño que le tengo a mis sueños qué decidí tomar el reto de tener tres trabajos mientras termino la carrera para tener solvencia económica para grabar mi EP en CDMX y se logro! Tengo 4 canciones preciosas que cuentan historias de capítulos muy importantes de mi vida listas para que el mundo las escuche. Sin embargo, la música no lo es todo.

Tengo cosas pendientes cómo grabar mis videos musicales, mi EPK, actualizar mi página web, nuevo merch, y prepararme para las próximas fechas de gira que están por venir (transporte, comida, vuelos). Por más trabajos que me eche encima, no cuento con la solvencia económica para sacar mi proyecto adelante en los próximos meses y cualquier donación sería sumamente agradecida para apoyar mis sueños que se van realizando poco a poco. Una no puede hacer las cosas sola así que gracias por leerme y creer en mi ❤️

My name is Lizzie Astorga and I am an independent TexMex musical artist raised in Brownsville TX and have been writing songs for 12 years. This year has brought me immense joy for I had the opportunity to hop on tour with Caloncho, and open up for bands such as Hello Seahorse, Carla Morrison, and more artists in the upcoming months! Being an independent artist comes with numerous expenses to produce music, create music videos, travel, etc. My project has been funded by me 100%. Hence, why I am starting this GoFundMe fundraiser.

So let me tell you a little about myself:

My project needs your help. The love I have for my dreams is so grand that I decided to take on the challenge of juggling three jobs while being a part-time student in order to have funds to record my EP in Mexico City and sure enough, I did it! I have 4 songs that were inspired by very important chapters of my life ready for the world to listen to. However, music isn't everything.

My project still has pending tasks such as filming my music videos, my EPK, updating my website, new merch and preparing for the upcoming tour dates (transportation, food, flights). Although I have multiple jobs; I also have school, and monthly payments to take care of and do not have the financial freedom to carry out my project in the coming months. Any donation would be extremely appreciated to support my dream.
