Hi Friends & Family of Lizzie,

This summer and fall have brought challenging and unimaginable news for our sister, Lizzie. She has been diagnosed with cancer and after several frustrating experiences, as well as a lack of confidence in the care from Kaiser, Lizzie and her family made the decision to transfer her care to UCSD Moores Cancer Center.

The new team at UCSD has given Lizzie a renewed sense of hope and assurance, knowing she’s in capable hands. This transition marks a fresh chapter in her journey to recovery, and she deeply appreciates the support and love from each of you.

We are incredibly grateful that Lizzie’s condition was caught early, and her prognosis is positive. However, covering the cost of treatment out-of-pocket has become overwhelming as she waits for her new insurance to begin in January. Lizzie and her family are filled with gratitude for the overwhelming love, support, well-wishes, and prayers they have received. Your kindness means the world to them.
