Support Local Business Recovery in Marshall NC

Hi, this is Hollie West, Owner/Operator of The Sweet Monkey in Historic Downtown Marshall, NC. I am one of the businesses that was completely wiped away from Hurricane Helene flooding upriver from Asheville.

I have been in the downtown community for 10 years as a restaurant, catering company and a wholesale frozen pizza creator to keep the list short, creating meals, experiences and memories for anyone who walked in the door and beyond. I might have catered your wedding, meeting, reunion or gathering of any kind!

For the last 2 days, I, as have the rest of my sweet little mountain town, watched everything that we have worked for and with to create this beautiful place bulldozed away in waves of mud to giant dump trucks. It's heartbreaking! Anything will help as insurance is a no-go and our only options are loans at the moment.
