Support Local Community Storm Victims 3rd Time Unlucky

Hi, I'm Katie, and I've set up this GoFundMe to support Lisa and Mike, who have faced unimaginable hardship with trees repeatedly crashing into their Emerald home—not once, not twice, but three times.

Lisa and Mike were still recovering from the devastating June 2021 storm, waiting on an insurance payout, when the bizarre super-storm in February struck again, causing more damage. And just last night, with tarps still covering one side of their home, a neighbour’s tree fell onto the other half, inflicting major structural damage.

Lisa and Mike are some of the most beautiful and resilient people I know. Since moving to our community in 2019, they have fully embraced the Hills lifestyle, embodying the generosity and goodwill our community is known for.
