Support Local Hero for the Homeless

Hi the Salazar family is looking for your support for our dear son, brother and uncle Arthur (Artie) Salazar who recently was hospitalized with Covid and is now in intensive care in San Diego.

 

As many of you know, he has tirelessly worked to provide assistance for the homeless with his 'Bibles for the Homeless' campaign which he founded and has been doing for several years, along with other caring volunteers.

 

He has consistently provided the homeless with care packages including, socks, food, bibles, hand sanitizer and hot coffee, all provided by a combination of charitable donations and his own money/time. He has also been writing a digital newsletter for over 10 years, Pipeline LaserRay Gun, where he has faithfully spread the word of God. His ambition is to reach a new generation of Christians throughout the world with his creative combination of comic book methodologies and scripture.

 

He also works hand in hand with congregations and pastors in third world countries, like Africa, participating in programs to help the needy, such as Heifer International.

 

He is uninsured and self-employed, living paycheck to paycheck. We humbly ask you for your prayers and to contribute what you can to help with his medical bills and living expenses while he recuperates, God willing.
