7/20 - Prayers for Healing are working!!!!!God is still showing out y’all!

Logan had his follow ups Thursday and Friday

Dr. Said that he is healing wonderfully but will start seeing a wound care specialist .

Still is on bed rest and keeping the bandaging on. Thank you all for blessing us with all of that supplies! We are truly blessed.

Logan says thank you all for the cards, FOOD, and other support.

logan was discharged home with his family late yesterday. He has a long road ahead to recover. The family is so thankful for all support!

Update 7/10 from

Logans mom:

This Man had a rough night . I had to ask 5 times for clean sheets/gown and meds . His pain was very intense and they were 41/2 hrs late on giveing the pain meds . He is having strong muscle spasms that literally jerk the body part completely off the bed. He is so strong , I can’t imagine how painful those are .

He seems to not have much feeling at all in his left arm . Everything is very dull , he can’t move it on its own the bicep was shredded still not sure to the extent of damage there . ( pray that he regains use at any capacity) The hand is swollen and bruised from where he was punching 1 of the dogs ( his pinky and hand have bite punctures) while holding the other with the right hand by the throat trying to keep it out of his face .

You can quite literally see where the dogs had his entire head in their mouth. His right ear was almost completely torn of in 3 pieces ( the surgeon did an amazing job sewing it back up and on ) . Still may loose it but we are praying it heals . He has several teeth marks on his face ( nothing serious), left ear, head , and neck .

He has several smaller lacerations to the left bicep, tricep, hand, chest,right armpit .

His thighs (groins) look like the dogs clamped completely and tore all the way out( looks more like a lion’s claw marks if you will or what a shark bite might look like ).

He had chunks took out of both calves along with other smaller punctures . His back also sustained bites and even bruises of the paw prints.

The metal state ………

He can’t stomach the talk/thought about dogs even ours that he has had for years & his new puppy ( 3 yrs he has wanted his own) we have had for about a month right now . He just shuts down and looks away with Complete disgust (I guess)on his face

He has told us exactly what happened from start to finish and will answer direct questions about it but doesn’t talk about anything own his own.

Future I don’t know what he thinks it looks like right now but I know he will have a long road ahead in this department.

Logan Burns is a 16 year old boy who was viciously attacked by two dogs while delivering pizza. Logan suffered major injuries and is lucky to have survived this attack. Logan spent 4+ hours in surgery following the attack and has a long road ahead to recover. We would like to raise funds to assist his parents, Bryan and Randi Burns, during this time.
