Support Logan's Battle Against Lymphoma

My name is Sandy Greene, and before everything I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this request. I have never set up a GoFundMe account so I hope this adequately expresses the need for this sweet family.
First a brief comment on how I met Logan. I am a 69 year old woman that plays pickleball. Two years ago a 26 year old, high on life, kid showed up one day and started playing with his “old people”. He is an amazing guy and his journey has broken hearts and his strength and positivity attitude has inspired. I really can’t express what a wonderful human being Logan is…now here is his journey.
Logan Hames is a 28 year old husband to Katy and father of two sweet babies, Avy B and Ace. In early April, Logan was having some difficulty breathing and like most young healthy men brushed it off until the symptoms worsened. After a trip to the ER, X-rays and scans, a softball size tumor was found in Logan’s chest. Unfortunately the tumor is wrapped around Logan‘s heart and pressing on several structures in his chest. The tumor is inoperable.
Since that finding, Logan has endured multiple biopsies on the mass, multiple bone marrow biopsies and other painful procedures. The diagnosis is T lymphoblastic lymphoma. Treatment has been aggressive and has required Logan to be hospitalized for most of the treatment. When he did have a day or two break from the hospital there were multiple emergency room visits. It is expected that he will need chemotherapy and radiation for up to two years.
Day to day expenses, in addition to medical costs is a burden. Family and friends are helping as much as possible, but the need is greater than what we are able to do.
I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to read about Logan’s journey. I humbly ask you consideration to donate to Logan account. In addition, I ask that you share this with as many of your friends and family as possible
Thank you!
