Support Lola's Leukemia Treatment

My name is AJ and I am calling on our community to help my best friend and sister, Alyssa, and her family. On October 31st they received the earth shattering news that their 6 year old daughter, Lola, had Leukemia. Lola was immediately transported from Flagstaff to Phoenix Children's Hospital for treatment. Alyssa and her partner, Drew, have remained in the hospital at her side every second since.

Lola is a powerhouse. A beautiful, silly, intelligent, strong-willed powerhouse. She is creative, caring, an excellent big sister to Phoebe, and an irreplaceable best friend to my son, Myles. She loves animals, playing outside, music, dancing, and sometimes defying authority. She is a force, a precious gift to everyone that knows and loves her.

Lola's treatment requires that she remain in Phoenix. Treatment for Leukemia often takes years. Overnight, Alyssa and Drew's lives turned upside down. They will need to relocate to Phoenix, move their belongings, find new jobs, and continue to be at Lola's side through every procedure and treatment.

I am asking my community to help support them during this difficult chapter, to ease some of the weight on their shoulders so that they can focus on Lola and Phoebe. Any funds raised will go directly to them to help offset moving costs, time off of work, time between jobs, and any additional medical expenses not covered by insurance.
