Support Lori Blair's Fight Against Cancer

Hi my name is David Lara. We never expected to be writing news of our good friend, but earlier in March Lori Blair, Robb's wife was diagnosed with Colon Cancer.

As family and friends, we are determined this is a detour on Lori's path and we are going to support her on her healing mission.

She is at the beginning of this process - navigating her diagnosis, seeing new doctors, learning what all of this means. She started her treatment last week - seven weeks of radiation paired with chemotherapy. Her oncologist said this is a treatable cancer but will be a hard road to healing.

I can say with confidence that Lori and Robb have made an impact on each of our lives, and we are so grateful for the expansive network of friends and family that she has across the US. It can be hard to know how to help where it is needed most so we are creating a place where you can make an impact. Cancer is a dreadful opponent - the steep cost of treatments and therapies coupled with an inability to work can quickly drain one's savings, leaving them with financial stress that hinders the ability to focus on recovery.
