Support Lorraine Kroesser's Dementia Care

Earlier this year, my mom, Lorraine Kroesser was diagnosed with rapid dementia. Over a very short amount of time, we have watched her health spiral downward.

She requires 24/7 supervision and she is much more frail than you might remember your friend being. I have taken a leave of absence from my full time job to be a full time caretaker for mom.

My goal is to get her into a home asap, where I know she will receive the 24/7 care she needs and deserves.

I’m making this page, for moms friends and relatives to support her, as they feel led.

I’m praying I can get her into a facility, with legitimate nursing staff, although I’ve been doing my best to care for her. I am horribly under qualified. She shouldn’t live in a home with stairs. She wanders and when her mood shifts she says things that she doesn’t mean. She also has an easier time being compliant when she goes to the hospital, than family members when they help her.

She deserves consistent care and our whole family could use the peace of mind, knowing she’s somewhere safe.
