Support loss of income

On behalf of the staff at our local Ghandi restaurant in Herne Bay:

As some of you may have heard, the week before Christmas, our dear friend and family member Sharif was stabbed 5 times in an unprovoked vicious attack on his way home from work in Whitstable. This resulted in injuries that has left Sharif in intensive care for the last 2 weeks fighting for his life over Christmas and the New year.

Lots of you will recognise Sharif from the many years he has worked at the Ghandi and will have appreciated his gentle nature and sense of humour. Unfortunately, due to the injuries he has sustained, sharif has had to stopped working and with uncertainty of when he will be well enough to come back to work, we are reaching out for any donation big or small to help his family through this time of need whilst his income has stopped. His wife has been staying at the hospital with him in London and his children have been staying with friends whilst he’s receiving urgent medical attention.

We are wishing for a full recovery for Sharif but would appreciate any help towards financial burdens in this uncertain time.
