Support Louise’s family

Hi there, my name is Emma-Kate and I have had the honour of being Louise’s friend over the ten years that I coached her girls at my Calisthenics club.

 

This woman wasn’t just a Cali mum, she wasn’t just a CFS volunteer, she wasn’t only the most decorated mental health worker or grief counsellor or mother or wife or step-Mum or sister or daughter or friend. Louise was simply, the best person I have ever known. Lou was the backbone to everyone, she was the light to everything, she kept us sane and level headed and put everything into perspective always. I felt comfort when she was around, like everything was ok because Louise was there. I was always so proud and grateful to have Louise as my friend. I couldn’t even start to name everything she has helped me through over the years of being her friend.

 

Louise simply made my life better. She taught me skills and lessons that have forever changed me for the better. Louise always had a smile, her infectious laugh and she always knew exactly what to say and do.

 

In asking ourselves “what would Louise do?”, this seems like the most practical way to help her family in the most difficult time any of them will ever experience. Louise helped everyone, she was there for everyone always. We need to support her family in reflection of how she was in life.
