"The Milkshake Club" to support The Stoess Family

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Nicole Wistner.

Friends and Family...During this season of giving, I am kindly asking for your support for a much-deserving family.

On Friday, Dec. 23rd Chick-Fil-A locations around the Lehigh Valley will be hosting " The Milkshake Club" to support Joe Stoess, Renee Stoess and family!

Chick-fil-A Trexlertown (6379 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA), Chick-fil-A Whitehall (2610 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall, PA), Chick-fil-A Lower Nazareth (3750 Dryland Way, Easton, PA)...locations will ALL be donating a portion of the proceeds from each Milkshake sale to The Stoess Family to help offset medical and memorial expenses.

I set this go fund me account up for those who are unable to make it to "The Milkshake Club" or to one of the locations but, still would like to offer support.

The Stoess Family are very good friends of ours. I would like to share a bit more about this family and their "Milkshake Club Story" as they deserve every ounce of support, love and kindness. We are very close with the Stoess Family, and I cannot properly express how amazing they all are. Renee Stoess and Joe Stoess have been married 20 years and have 3 beautiful children.

Joe is a retired Staff Sergeant USMC and served just under 15 years. He bravely fought for our country-- 5 deployments, 4 combat deployments. Joe has traveled to 36 countries and received the patriot award in 2016. Joe medically retired for injuries sustained during active duty. The Stoess Family finally had Joe home with them to make memories and be TOGETHER. After living in 5 different states as a military family, they finally bought their "forever home" in our community about a year ago and unfortunately only one week later, Joe was diagnosed with cancer. As always, Joe was brave as he battled this disease and Renee (his strong military wife) stood strong next to him every step of the way. She had been his caregiver since retiring. And now-- with a cancer diagnosis (Joe is now on hospice) -- she had been his full-time caregiver, a role that she takes on with deep love and grace. All while being the best Mom ever to 3 AWESOME children. To me, they are all superhero status. When Joe was first diagnosed, their daughter, Cadence started " The Milkshake Club" - where they would go as a family when they needed to find a bit of comfort and process the emotions and roller coaster of the fight. They would all get their milkshakes and sit in the parking lot together and be in the moment. To me.... that is the important story here.... we can ALL learn from this.... We all need to BE IN THE MOMENT. Whatever that looks like for you. For them, this sweet treat brought them together. This is what the " The Milkshake Club" is all about. Please support this beautiful family by sharing a " MOMENT" with a sweet treat! In return, this will help this family tremendously with what is ahead financially and emotionally.

Merry Christmas to all and thank you for your love, support and kindness during this beautiful time of year.
