Support Lucy's Journey to a Brighter Future!
Meet Lucy, who entered this world much earlier than expected, as part of a triplet. Despite her challenging start, Lucy's spirit shines bright, but she faces unique obstacles due to being born severely premature. Lucy has been diagnosed with CVI (cerebral visual impairment) and Retinopathy of Prematurity, conditions that affect her vision and daily life.
Fortunately, Lucy has found incredible support and care from the Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB). The RNIB has been an unwavering source of assistance, providing vital resources, therapies, and emotional support for Lucy and her devoted parents, Tony and Julie. They've even organized special trips, offering precious moments of joy and respite amidst the challenges.
Now, we have the opportunity to give back to this remarkable organisation that has made such a difference in Lucy's life. By donating to this fundraiser, you'll directly contribute to the RNIB's mission of empowering individuals like Lucy to overcome visual impairments and live fulfilling lives. Your generosity will fund crucial programs, services, and research efforts, ensuring that others facing similar challenges receive the support they need.
To raise funds for this great organisation - I will be walking from the City of London to Brighton in 24hrs, which is approximately 104.77km or 65.1 miles.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact on Lucy's journey to a brighter future. Let's come together as a community to show our love and support for Lucy, Tony, Julie, and the incredible team at the RNIB. Together, we can make a difference!
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
