Our mom, Lyndsey has always been a strong woman. She is a super mom, wife, daughter and friend always willing to put someone else above herself. Even with the sudden decline in her health she still never fails to amaze everyone around her. She continuously fights for not only herself but her family and makes the best out of the worst situations including her own. If you know Lyndsey you know how amazing and strong she is.
In 2019, Our family was hit really hard with the sudden decline in our moms health. She spent 12 days in the hospital in February 2019 and was diagnosed with a disease called Guillain-bare Syndrome then recently in September of 2020 she was newly diagnosed with Neuromyotonia . With this disease came many different mental and physical obstacles that my mom faces every single day. These obstacles include paralysis, memory loss, speech problems, well over $40,000 in doctor bills, lots of traveling to many different doctors, 8 different neurologists, many let downs, tons of bad news and the most detrimental of them all, the loss of our moms freedom.
With the new year beginning, having two girls in college, a boy in highschool and our dad being the only one able to provide for our family financially; doctor bills, cost of medications and possible treatments begin to add up quickly. If you know our parents you know they are not the type of people to ask for help when they need it most and that's why we (their children) are starting this gofundme. The money raised will be used to help our parents with any medical expenses that come from our moms road to recovery. We know they will be eternally grateful for anything and anyone who supports in any way.
