Lyra's Birthday Food Drive for Capital Area Food Bank!

The Capital Area Food Bank leads the DC region’s efforts to provide equitable access to food and opportunity to people struggling with hunger and food insecurity. Each year, they source and distribute the food for more than 50 million meals.

Lyra became interested in running a food drive through her Girl Scout troop and asked Beth and Chris to help her organize one as part of her birthday celebrations. She is seeding the drive with her allowance and is asking friends, family, and neighbors to donate food items or funds, too. If you'd prefer to donate food items, we're happy to collect them, and Lyra will deliver what we collect around Thanksgiving.
