Support Macen's Final Journey Home

Macen graduated high school in May 2023 and was an all star athlete and a prominent, influential and essential part of the Mountain Home high school football team. GO TIGERS!!! He was also a big goof ball and prankster that would always try and light up the room with his energetic, infectious and cheeky personality. As Macen left high school, he went into trade school to be a lineman and passed with flying colors. He followed his new found career to a short spell in Pocatello, ID then travelled to Portland, Or where he found many new friends. Macen quickly transitioned from a high schooler to a fine young man, he was well known and loved in this small, close community we call Mountain Home and this was often backed up by the community reaching out to Jayse, Macen’s mom, with complements for his hard work ethic, politeness, manners and massive heart. Jayse also received compliments for raising such a gentleman which is a tribute to her!

Macen was involved in a tragic accident on Friday night July 13th in Portland Oregon and succumbed to his injuries passing away on Saturday morning July 14th. With Jayse and family scrambling through the night Friday night into Saturday morning from Mountain Home, ID to be by his side for his final last hours. Macen, is a donor and even though passing, is a fighter and a hero for others by allowing his body to take the process in order to help improve and better the lives of others.

Jayse is a private woman, is never asking for anything from anyone and takes pride in standing on her own two feet. She serves our community with pride and passion everyday and has such a loyal following. She would be a little ticked knowing i set this up for her but she is needing to take an unknown amount of time off of work to be with her family and loved ones and more importantly bringing Macen home to Mountain Home, ID from Portland, Or where he can finally rest in peace.

I'm hoping the community can get behind her and give her the love and support that’s she is needing.

Macen, may you rest in peace son! You will always be loved and never forgotten.
