Support Mackenzie Lohse - PDS Family

On June 6th Mackenzie (aka Kenzie/Gouda) Lohse was in an accident and experienced head trauma that resulted in a Traumatic Brain Injury with two brain bleeds and skull fractures. She was in the ICU for eight days, with three of them being on a ventilator with an additional two days on the Neuro floor. Doctors also discovered a potential heart issue that will be monitored for the next two weeks.

She is expected to recover fully, but not without its challenges. The trauma to her head has resulted in left side facial paralysis and inability to hear out of her left ear. She is also experiencing vision issues where she can only open her left eye.

She planned to work full-time this summer to save for college expenses.

Over the next few months, she will have multiple surgeon and doctors visits ranging from :

Psychology /Therapy

Kenzie has been part of the PDS family since 2019, working full-time during the summer and college breaks. In addition, she has supported us on Saturdays while attending college at the university of stout.
