Support Maddie's Journey to Recovery

Over the last several weeks, our daughters' sweet friend, Maddie Hill, started experiencing symptoms of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), a condition that occurs when the brain has trouble communicating with the body.

She started experiencing a lack of mobility in her feet which then moved to her legs. Unfortunately, the lack of mobility has spread to her arms and abdomen as well. Due to her worsening condition, Maddie needs more specialized care.

Thankfully, Maddie's parents learned about the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which specializes in conditions like FND. Maddie and her father hope to leave for Michigan soon to begin her journey of rehabilitation. We do not yet know how long Maddie and her father will need to stay there.
