Madison Oster Pro2nd Ammendment

Donation protected
Madison Oster went on local Rockford News station WREX March 13th 2018, the night before the National Anti-gun Walkout to encourage other students who are Pro-2nd Amendment to not be afraid to speak out for their Constitutional Rights. Unfortunately Madison's public appeal to other students made liberal staff at Hononegah High treat her unfairly the following day, even though Madison has never had a detention or disciplinary problem.

Madison is proud of her Grandfather who served in the Vietnam War and her Great Grand Father who served in the Korean War, both US Army Servicemen who taught Madison respect for firearms, her Country, and the 2nd Amendment.

At the protest the Principal Flohr and Vice Principal Dougherty of Hononegah High School in Rockton Illinois denied Madison and her 4 friends their right to peaceable assembly to join the 50 - 75 Anti-gun students out on the Football Field for their protest and die-in.

These school officials had met with the Anti-gun students multiple times while they planned their die-in. While Hononegah High had a long standing rule against leaving class to protest, staff suspended this rule to allow Anti-gun students to join the National Anti-gun Walk-out. Hononegah High wanted their school to be seen as Anti-gun so these students were allowed to protest on the football field, but staff denied any media access that day to cover their discrimination against 5 lone Pro-2nd Amendment Students.

After the protest was over Principal Flohr and Vice Principal Dougherty held Madison's friends aside and were less than 10 meters away when Anti-Gun students yelled "Kill yourself" to Madison. Hononegah High VP Dougherty laughed when he heard this threat. Once inside VP Dougherty warned Madison and friends not to threaten the 50 - 75 Anti-gun students.

Dad pulled Madison out of school at the suggestion of the School Police Liaison. A call was made by Dad to the Superintendent complaining about staff allowing bullying that day and the current Superintendent didn't return that call for over a week. It took a month after the incident for Hononegah High to investigate the issue, and officials found against Madison and clearing all Hononegah staff.

The ACLU sent a letter to Hononegah about the incident warning them not to discriminate.

This Go-Fund-Me Page is to raise money for Madison's defense that the Illinois State Rifle Association may not cover, and to help pay tuition for Madison to attend a private Christian School this school year which is coming up next week.

Madison would like me to add "Reading your comments on the 2A page and other Pro-gun articles has really helped me to feel like I am not alone. Thank you for supporting me and thank you to our US Military for all you do to keep our country safe."
